ITS GAME DAY!!!!!  (But not til 7:00 in the evening)

• THE BEST AWAY-GAME TAILGATE PARTY EVER!!!  

It’ll  be just like being at the VC!  Join us starting at 10:00AM for drinks, barbeque, and fun with over 2000 other Buckeyes who have come to Austin to cheer the Bucks to victory over the ‘Horns!

We’ll be there till 3:00pm when it will be time to walk a couple of blocks to the BUCKEYE BASH!

We’ll see you there!

• BUCKEYE BASH   

The OSU Alumni Association will be sponsoring their BUCKEYE BASH starting at 3:00pm.  Here are some specific details:

Location: Frank Erwin Center on Red River Road between 15th Street and Martin Luther King

Time: Doors open at 3:00 p.m.; estimated time of program: 4:00 p.m.

The OSU Marching Band will perform the songs it plans to play during the game.  The cheerleaders and Brutus will perform following the band.  Archie Griffin (and hopefully, Gene Smith) will speak during the program.

There will be several concession stands open that will be selling hot dogs, popcorn, candy, chips, soda and water.  They will also be selling beer.  We anticipate folks will stick around until 6:30 p.m. until it is time to walk to the game.

We look forward to seeing you at the bash; it should be a great event!!!!

• Want to walk or swim?  

We recommend walking in the morning and swimming in the afternoon; as it will be HOT.  Ausin has some FABULOUS choices here.  Try the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail.  Its beautiful and its right downtown.  And then visit Deep Eddy Pool, which is right there as well.  Or Barton Springs pool.  Both of them are fed by natural springs, so they are COOL; even in the middle of summer!  Here's more info.
